Interactive Supercomputing develops and markets Star-P, the world's first interactive parallel computing platform. The platform enables automatic parallelization and interactive execution of existing desktop simulation applications on high-performance computer (HPC) servers. Star-P acts as a bridge between popular scientific and engineering desktop computing tools, such as MATLAB® by Mathworks, and the parallel computing capabilities of HPCs.   • Software Test Engineer (Waltham, MA)

    This is a key engineer within our Quality Assurance team who will be directly responsible for the definition, implementation, execution and tracking of functional unit tests for our high-performance computing platform. He will contribute to design sessions to ensure software testability and coverage and work with developers to define tests and resolve problems; integrate tests into automation framework and oversee daily execution and analysis; and validate fixes and quality release candidates. Coding and testing will be accomplished in Windows and Linux environments using C++ and MATLAB. Requirements: MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field and one year of experience in quality assurance engineering.     Fall Interns - Computational library work

    We are looking for several interns to work on building high performance computational libraries. If you have studied numerical methods or have a strong math background and take pride in writing screaming-fast code, you should apply for this job! Experience with image/signal processing or optimization and with VHLLs like MATLABŪ, is a plus, but not required. If you would like to spend your spare time writing interesting code, getting experience working in a start-up environment and learning industry best practices then please apply. We are looking for a commitment of 15-20 hours per week September through December 2008.
