Interactive Supercomputing develops and markets Star-P, the world's first interactive parallel computing platform. The platform enables automatic parallelization and interactive execution of existing desktop simulation applications on high-performance computer (HPC) servers. Star-P acts as a bridge between popular scientific and engineering desktop computing tools, such as MATLAB® by Mathworks, and the parallel computing capabilities of HPCs. Based in Waltham, Mass., the company markets Star-P for a range of security, intelligence, manufacturing, energy, biomedical, financial, and scientific research applications.
